Dr Finucane graduated from University College Dublin in 2011. He spent time working in New Zealand before returning to Ireland to complete his GP training. He enjoys all aspects of General Practice, with a special interest in Men's Health, management of chronic diseases and Children's Health. Additionally, he has completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Dermatology and has an interest in all skin problems. He has taken over the practice as the principal partner since June 2019. 

I started the medical practice in 1998 after studying in Trinity College Dublin (TCD), postgraduate training on the newly developed TCD General Practice scheme with additional time in Psychiatry to learn skills to help patients manage stress. After further time abroad, my wife Helene, practice nurse, and I worked full time in the community of Stillorgan until 2019. Half of this time was spent training younger doctors who were entering General Practice as a career.

I continue to work part time in Stillorgan Medical Centre and devote a weekly session to addressing Lifestyle and Nutritional Medicine. This area greatly interests me as it empowers patients in dealing with challenges as wide ranging as Fertility, Chronic Disease improvement, weight management and ageing well. 

Dr Dalton joined the practice in 1998. She combines raising a family and General Practice. Her special areas of interests are Women's Health and Children's Medicine.

Dr Hickey is a graduate of University College Dublin. She worked in a number of specialities, including; paediatrics, palliative medicine, psychiatry and emergency medicine prior to completing her General Practice training. She holds a diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG) and post graduate qualifications in Occupational Health (LFOM). She is also trained in contraceptive coil and contraceptive implant insertion and removal.

Dr. Cox joined the surgery in October 2022 and works Wednesday mornings and afternoons. She is trained in contraceptive coil and contraceptive implant insertion and removal.

We were delighted to welcome Jennie to the practice in 2019. She has a broad range of experience, with a special interest in Women's Health and Sexual Health.

The services she provides include cervical screening, STI screening, ear syringing, and cryotherapy.

We were delighted to welcome Jean Blake to the team in 2022. She has a background in midwifery prior to working in General Practice. She is available by appointment Monday and Friday mornings. 

Evanne is an experienced practice nurse who runs a vaccine and phlebotomy clinic every Thursday morning.

Jeanne has been with the practice since 1998. She has a critically important role in the practice. Her dedication and kindness have been a tremendous help in maintaining high standards of care.
